Why everything here runs in your browser
Most PDF sites take your file, ship it off to their server, do the work there and send it back. That works, but it means a copy of your lease, your tax return or your kid's school form sits on a computer you know nothing about, at least for a while.
JoinPDFs does the work right on your phone or computer instead. The page loads the tools once, then your files get opened, changed and saved locally. Nothing goes up. You can test it yourself: load a tool, switch on airplane mode, and it still works.
